Kelvin MacDonald FAcSS FRTPI CIHCM FRSA
Kelvin is a Senior Departmental Fellow at the Department of Land Economy and lectures and tutors on the post-graduate and Tripos degree courses.
He is a Specialist Adviser to the House of Commons Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Select Committee and to the House of Lords Built Environment Committee, most recently for its Inquiry into The impact of environmental regulations on development.
He is the Chair of the Board of BHT Sussex, a charity providing accommodation and services for homeless people and for those dealing with addiction and mental well-being issues, and is a part-time Senior Lecturer at the School of Applied Sciences at the University of Brighton.
He was previously a member of the Board of Trustees of Shelter and interim Chair of Shelter Scotland. He was the Director of Policy and Research and then the Chief Policy Adviser to the Royal Town Planning Institute.
He is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences and of the Royal Town Planning Institute and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
