Legacies of Enslavement is a student-led project which investigates the involvement of College members in the slave trade, slave plantations and anti-slavery agitation.
The Lady Wallis Budge Fellow in Egyptology at Christ's was established in 1936. The Egyptology website was created in 2022 to mark the 200th anniversary of the decipherment of Egyptian hieroglyphs and the 100th anniversary of the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun.
Darwin200 celebrates the life, work and impact of alumnus Charles Darwin (1809-1882).
Darkness Visible was commissioned in 2008 for the celebration of the 400th birthday of alumnus and poet John Milton (1608-1674), author of Paradise Lost.
