Sharon received her PhD in engineering at the University of Cambridge in 2013, specializing in cost-effective ultra-fast optical communication technologies with embedded electronics. She then began her career in fintech by joining Cronto Limited, the pioneer of visual transaction signing. Over the past 10 years, Sharon has been dedicated to research and innovation in the field of cybersecurity, leading several research initiatives. Her current research interests include synthetic data generation, trustworthy artificial intelligence, and adaptive machine learning for fraud detection.

In addition to her work in industrial innovation and R&D, Sharon is also deeply passionate about training young engineers and providing support to female engineers, helping them progress in the early stages of their careers.
