If you are using online resources which refer to levels in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, note that although they don't map directly onto GCSE and A level standards, as guidance:
- GCSE level learners are likely to be working at less than B1 level.
- A level (and equivalent) students should reach approx B2 level at the end of the A level course.
We emphasise that this information is very approximate. The information is provided only to help you to choose online resources at a suitable language level, as certain wesbites (e.g Deutsche Welle) refer to these levels.
