The Charles Blackham Memorial competition is an annual competition held at the beginning of Lent term in memory of the late chair of the Music Society, Charles Blackham. It is open to instrumentalists and singers in College, of all standards, although previous competition winners are not eligible to enter again.
Competition entrants perform up to 15 minutes of music at the competition recital in the Chapel, which is judged by the Director of Music, Professor David Rowland, a Senior Fellow, and the Chair of CCMS.
