Organ Recital by Professor David Rowland and CD Launch

Director of Music, Professor David Rowland, will be launching the first solo recording of the Christ’s Chapel organ on which he gave the opening recital just before he joined the College 40 years ago. 

The organ retains much of the pipework of the instrument installed in 1705, so it is fitting that the recording contains music by J S Bach, composed at the beginning of the eighteenth century. 

There will be a Welcome from the Master at 5.50pm, and then the recital will be followed by Evensong and drinks in the ante-Chapel, with the opportunity to purchase the CD.
