Book recommendations
Books for the College Library are chosen from Departmental and Faculty reading lists and at the recommendation of Directors of Studies.
But purchase recommendations from students are always very welcome! Our full Collections Policy is available on our website.
They are normally purchased in the most appropriate and accessible format, unless they are either unobtainable or – individually or collectively – very expensive.
Book recommendation forms are readily available in the Library, and recommendations are also welcomed electronically

- Fill in a printed book recommendation slip in the Reading Room, Floor 1 (red box in Reading Room)
Please understand that we may not be able to buy everything and we will give precedence to requests for books from reading lists for Part I and Part II papers.
