Online interviews will start with an ID check. As you enter the Teams meeting (interview), please hold your ID up to the camera - you do not need to wait to be asked. Keep the ID there until your interviewers confirm that you can move it.
This applies to all interviews.
We accept the following forms of ID:
Passport
UK Photo-card driving licence (full or provisional)
EU Photo ID card
Government-issued ID card
Only if you do not have any of the above ID documents:
We also accept school-issued photo ID cards if you do not have any of the ID in the list above.
In order to be legible to your interviewers, please ensure that your ID is presented in the Latin alphabet.
Your background must not be blurred during your ID check.
If you plan to blur your background during your interview (not a requirement), please wait until after the interviewers have confirmed that your ID check has finished. See the Teams Support section for more information on this at the end of November.
If you have an invigilated session that is not an interview (see your invitation to interview - if an invigilator is listed, that is an invigilated session), you may be asked to show ID, so please make sure that it is ready on your desk if needed.
Many thanks for your help with entering the interview with your ID showing - this will save time and enable your interviewers to get on with the actual interview as soon as possible.
