This page is part of the offer-holders section for students who have been offered an undergraduate place at Christ's College.

How we receive your results

In some cases, we receive exams results directly from UCAS. In other cases, we will need you to send your results document to us.

This page on the UCAS website lists the (mainly UK) qualifications for which UCAS sends results to us directly (if you scroll down). The list includes, for example:

QualificationNote
The International Baccalaureate DiplomaWe will only receive your results if your school is registered with UCAS.
If it isn't then you will need to send these to us.
A note for offer holders receiving IB results will be available shortly before IB results day.
GCE A Levels and AS Levels
CIE A Levels and AS LevelsWe will only receive your results if your school is registered with UCAS.
If it isn't then you will need to send these to us.
Cambridge Pre-U Diploma and Certificates
Sixth Term Examination Paper (STEP)
SQA Advanced Highers and Highers
Irish Leaving Certificate
the Welsh Baccalaureate

If we will receive all results mentioned in your offer directly, and you have achieved the grades you needed for your offer, there is no need to do anything when your results are published.

If you miss the grades required by a conditional offer, please send us a results breakdown as an email attachment to admissions@christs.cam.ac.uk as soon as possible on results day. UCAS sends us your overall grades but not a breakdown of your results. A couple of days before results are released in the UK (15 August) we will publish the A level (and other) results day page, which is where we'll put more information about sending results breakdowns and any updates about 15 and 16 August for students who have missed offer conditions. An equivalent page will also be published just before International Baccalaureate results day.

If we don't receive the results for your qualification

If you are taking qualifications that we don't receive the results for from UCAS, it will be important that you send / arrange for your school to send your exam results as soon as you have them.

This includes (amongst others):

We will need an official record of your results. Normally this will be a copy of your results statement that has been signed and stamped by your school. Please could this be scanned and sent to admissions@christs.cam.ac.uk (if getting the school signature will take more than a day, please email us a temporary version so that we have the results and then send a further version later on).

  • Please ensure that all grades etc. referred to in your offer conditions are explicitly mentioned on the results document that you send. If they are not mentioned on the official document, please ask your school to provide an additional signed document on school-headed paper to confirm the remaining information.

  • If your results document is not in English, please provide both the original and a translation (the translation can be done by you if easier, but it must be a complete translation of your full results document).

  • Please email your results to admissions@christs.cam.ac.uk as a .pdf or .jpeg file. The name of the file should be
    19 - Subject - SURNAME First name - Results - UCAS number
    e.g. 19 - Archaeology - WATTS Ella - Results - 1038499938
Many thanks! If we have any difficulty in opening the file, we will let you know.

  • If you are taking IELTS Academic, TOEFL Internet Based Test (IBT), or Cambridge English: C2 Proficiency, please remember that we need a copy of these results as well. See the English Language conditions page for details.
